Yea. If you’ve read my previous post, you might have guessed that the room was in a pretty bad shape. One of the guys in that room, pointed me to #5 since he was tired of my Why isn’t this/that clean? questions. #5 is a new room, and is very clean right now. I’ve also found the room-mates to be pretty friendly and helpful. I’m happy right now.

Btw, I’m still waiting for my DELL laptop. It seems to be taking ages in its ‘In Production’ stage. Anyways, we’re yet to get an internet connection here in the room, so it doesn’t really matter if I’ve the laptop or not.

Classes have started full time. I added another core course : Operating Systems to my course schedule. Its yet to reflect in my online account.

Hmm.. nothing else for now, except my stupid skin allergy, that’s keeping me itching 24X7.

All my holds cleared two days back, and I thus, I registered successfully. . I added two core courses ( majors). I gotta talk to my grad. advisor and get permission to add another core course. I’d like to finish this MS course as fast as possible.
  On the other hand, I’m just not able to wait for my laptop to arrive. Though DELL seems to be on schedule, I’m getting quite impatient. I don’t want to rely on other’s laptops and PCs.
   Btw, I just moved to another room. It looks like one hell of a room. I didn’t like its looks one bit. It smells bad, and bad. . It needs some serious cleaning. Thats one reason I’m still living in the old room. Another reason is that I seem to have got quite habituated to this room in just a few days.
  I just got an Address Verification letter from my Designated School official. I can use this letter to apply for a bank account at Wellsfargo. I’d finally be able to deposit my money into one safe place, and be able to access it with a debit-card.
  Kingsville, is quite a sunny and hot place, and commuting to-from college is one hell of a walk. I start sweating in no time, and the humidity doesn’t help at all. I can’t wait for the winter season to begin.

We had two days of orientation at our univ. Yesterday and today. Enough of speeches and lectures. Informative, yet too boring.

On the other hand, I’ve liked the life here at Kingsville. Its quite, peaceful, without the slightest hint of pollution. You might not even get to count the number of vehicles on the road, coz there are almost none at all times of the day. Its such a difference from the congestion, pollution, and noise at Hyderabad. Its a welcome change, though I’m really not sure how many days I’d be happy here. It might bet boring sometime soon though.

One more thing, I ordered for my Dell Inspiron laptop today. A whopping 1069$ lappy with all the features I ever needed. 2GB Laptop, 160GB HDD, DVD Writer, 1.8GHZ Proc., Bluetooth, Glossy LCD screen and much more. I’m really excited about it. Dell says I should get it by the 5th of September. I’d love it if I could get it by the 3rd of september, for my birthday though. . Wonderful b’day gift eh?

Yea, you read it right. I was granted admission into the TEXAS A & M university , Kingsville for my Master’s in CS. I just arrived today, and am yet to taste some America.
I’m still recovering from the Jet-lag. It really is  a terrible feeling though.

I’ve been busy, with one of the most important events in my life. You shall know more about this once I actually am through. It looks too good to be true. I wouldn’t want to get too happy too fast. Anyways, I’ve upgraded my wardrobe on a large scale, and I’m loving it :D. Today, I also shifted reseller accounts, and its been a very very busy day. Its almost done now.
